A Swiss man who started the fire and stabbed people in a train in northeastern Switzerland, injuring six people including him.
Police in the state of St. Gallen, the incident took place 2:20 local time (1220 GMT) on Saturday afternoon while approaching the train station in Salez, near the border with Liechtenstein.
Police spokesman Bruno Metzger, the 27-year-old suspect was armed with a knife and poured flammable liquid on a female passenger and immediately burst into flames.
Among the wounded was a 6-year-old boy, three girls aged 17, 34 and 43, and two boys aged 17 and 50. Some of the wounded were in serious condition.
Police are investigating the motive of the suspects.
