19 people were killed and 26 wounded when stab a man in a facility for disabled people in central Japan on Tuesday morning.
Surrendered to the police the suspect Satoshi Uematsu, 26, a former employee of the facility in Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture, 40 kilometers southwest of Tokyo, said a government official at a news conference with public broadcaster NHK .
Kyodo news agency reported that the dead were aged 18 to 70 and includes nine men and 10 women.
