An international hacker allegedly arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) conducted its anti-illegal drugs operation in Las PiƱas City.
In a press conference, acknowledged NBI Interpol Division Chief Atty. Ferdinand Lavin, NBI spokesperson, the arrested Edgar Silvano alias Boy Tattoo.
The arrest was made following the serving of a search warrant issued by Quezon City Regional Trial Court Executive Judge Salvador Weight Jr., Silvano's house in Barangay Almanza Uno.
Confiscated during the operation two transparent plastic bag containing a white powdered substances and drug paraphernalia.
The mission of the NBI Forensic Division positively to the shabu confiscated paraphernalia.
Also obtained from the house of Silvano hundreds of credit cards with different names, bank book, laptop computer and used in illegal transactions.
NBI Anti-drug Division Chief Joel Tuvera, Silvanus is a former member of the group of hackers in the Philippines Oneball but separate and form their own hacking group.
Police also previously jailed Silvano in Hong Kong due to hacking of confidential data by HSBC Bank.
The suspect filed charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act and Republic Act 8484 or the Access Devices Regulation Act of 1998.
