If you have the opportunity to meet President-elect Rodrigo Duterte and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, likely to agree that the two leaders.

It is the belief of Katsuyuki Kawai, special advisor to the Japanese Prime Minister, who traveled to the Philippines this week to meet with the mayor and handed congratulatory letter from Abe.

"Duterte and Prime Minister Abe will be able to build good chemistry with each other," Kawai announced to journalists after the press briefing in Japan Information and Culture Center (JICC) of the Embassy of Japan in Pasay City.

"Mr. Duterte is very frank and sincere and also very decisive new leader as well as our Prime Minister, "said Kawai.

In his brief meeting with Duterte, discussed President-elect and special advisor of Abe's alleged interference in the issue of China's territory of different countries in the Spratlys Group of Islands, both of which involve Japan and the Philippines.

"Japan has been constantly supporting the Philippines' use of arbitral tribunal which respects the rule of law and the peaceful resolution pursuits through the arbitration," said Kawai.

Kawai Duterte explained that united the leaders of the G7 to promote a peaceful solution to territorial disputes in the South China Sea meeting in Ise-shima, Japan, recently.

Duterte and Kawai were agreed on three issues: the reaction is important in any decision of the arbitral tribunal; must safeguard the free navigation in the South China Sea; and promote cooperation in the field of security between the Philippines and Japan.
