An estimated P5.4 million worth of shabu seized by elements of the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in a male target a search warrant at Norte Medellin.
Reports reaching Camp Crame identified the escaped suspect as John Niel Cabatingan, alias "Chamik."
During the investigation, around 7:30 am to head raiding team armed with a search warrant at the home of Cabatingan in Sitio Proper, Brgy. Lamintak, Norte Medellin, Cebu, but they found it in place.
Then search the house of Cabatinga, police recovered 49 sachets of shabu weighing approximately 1.3 kilograms and worth P5.4 million.
Authorities also recovered the P33,350 and assorted drug paraphernalia in the house of the suspect.
